Revert "staging: nvec: Augment TODO file with GPIO work item"

This reverts commit 5a3e59ce3acf2f52c8b4a6fc656c3b1e4a329f06, because the
necessary changes were applied in the "staging: nvec: convert to use GPIO
descriptors" patch.
